The South Sudan National Ministry of Health recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV and AIDS (UNAIDS), on the right to health in the education sector. The commitment will see the incorporation of sexual education in the school curriculum to create awareness among young people to guard against HIV and other sexually transmitted infections.
