In Alagaya Refugee Camp, a group of refugees from South Sudan queue to have their ration cards verified by the Sudanese Red Crescent Society staff. The Camp is one of four camps in Sudan's White Nile state hosting South Sudanese who have fled the ongoing conflict in their country. Almost 11,000 South Sudanese are staying in Alagaya. WFP has been assisting them through food rations, special nutritional products for pregnant women, nursing mothers and children aged under five as well as a food-for-work project.
